I’m Wendy Dickinson. I work with small to middle market business owners who have poured years into building their businesses and want to have an expert on their side during the sale process. The clients I work with understand how to make their businesses work, but they typically have never sold a business before. They face a steep learning curve. I’m the expert in their corner. I guide them through the process: explaining how the process will unfold and the traps to avoid; helping them identify professionals they can trust; setting realistic goals that matter to them; and helping them lead the sales experience that they want to create.
I’m in a unique position to help my clients because I’ve seen firsthand the struggles that small business owners often face when they try to sell their businesses. I’ve also sold a business, so I know what it is like to sit on that side of the table. Drawing on my unique knowledge of the industry and my background as a professional coach, I’ve developed a formula that lets my clients sell their businesses from a position of strength, confident they understand the process and the pitfalls to avoid. In the end, they realize their goals, lead their teams through the sales period and the transition, and move on to whatever comes next satisfied that they successfully navigated the sale.
